  1. English IPA (5.1%, 60 IBU)

IPA’s of the past used to be very different than what we drink now. This IPA pays homage to the old world style. IPA’s come from the need to preserve beers that the British empire shipped to India. Hops have natural antioxidants that help maintain quality of beer so these old IPAs needed lots of them! With more hops came more bitterness! Also English IPA’s typically have a maltier back-bone since that was the preference back in the day.
