Cono Sur Sauvignon Blanc (12.5%), $8 Glass, $24 Bottle

Young and fresh, this wine has a nice bright yellow color with green hues. Its nose is mineral and citric, with herbal hints and notes of white flowers and melon, which anticipate a balanced and refreshing mouth that culminates in a long, mineral finish. Made from organically grown grapes.

La Camensarde Sancerre (12%), $45 Bottle

Hailing from the Sancerre region in Loire Valley, France, this Sauvignon Blanc jumps out of the glass with exotic notes of citrus and passion fruit followed by a classic minerality indicative of the region. The wine has a beautiful yellow color with golden highlights, and a lively, fruity palate that is inherently refreshing. The initial vivacity on the palate rounds off with a rich and well balanced finish.

Christom Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay (13.5%), $55 Bottle

Aromatically complex, the wine delivers intermingled notes of brioche, toasted meringue, lemon curd, and minerality. Zesty Meyer lemon, ginger, and cardamom drive interest on the palate, with a satisfying viscosity and bright acidity that lead to a long finish. This Chardonnay is a blend of benchmark vineyard sites in the Eola-Amity Hills, including the Cristom estate. It undergoes native yeast fermentation and full malolactic fermentation, and is aged for eleven months on its lees in 20% new French oak barrels, followed by five months in stainless steel tanks.

Hidden Horse Red Blend (13.9%), $9 Glass, $26 Bottle

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc opens with rich aromas of dark fruits, tobacco and white pepper followed by flavors of blackberry, dark cherry and vanilla, framed in toasty oak. This wine is a blend of five vineyards in Yakima Valley, Washington.

Matchbook Cabernet Sauvignon (13.9%), $10 Glass, $36 Bottle

The wine opens with classic Cabernet aromas of saddle leather, cigar box and a touch of earthy eucalyptus. Sumptuous flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, huckleberry and mocha are framed by sweet oak and vanilla from barrel aging. Fine-grained, dusty tannins add a plush structure to the finish.

Stoller Reserve Pinot Noir (13.5%), $60 Bottle

This Pinot Noir from Dundee Hills, Oregon, opens with a tangle of red and blue fruits, with intriguing notes of bramble berry, dark cranberry and dried cherry. The palate is dense with pomegranate, spiced berry, and silky tannins for a lovely medium-bodied wine with a finish that tapers elegantly into flavors of baking spice and blueberry crumble. Produced entirely from the Stoller Family Estate Vineyard, this wine highlights how well this site can balance ripeness and acidity.

Sleight of Hand “The Archimage” Reserve Red Blend (14.7%), $80 Bottle

The Archimage “Reserve” Bordeaux-Blend is 54% Cabernet Franc and 46% Merlot, sourced primarily from the Sleight of Hand estate vineyard on Red Mountain and Blue Mountain Vineyard in Walla Walla. Aged for 20 months in 41% new French oak, this wine is loaded with flavors of dark fruits like blueberries and blackberries, and has a gorgeous herbal undertones of green peppercorns and hay. Caramel and cinnamon spice come through on the back end, supported by well-integrated tannins and fresh acidity. You’ll be richly rewarded by this gorgeous Bordeaux-blend when pairing this fantastic wine with great music and friends - perfect for your experience at Chalice!

Sleight of Hand “Psychedelic Syrah” (13.3%), $92 Bottle

With only 440 cases produced, this distinctive Syrah from the Rocks District in Walla Walla is a special treat. The Stoney Vine Estate Vineyard is planted atop an ancient riverbed of softball-sized cobble stones, giving this wine the sought-after ‘Rocks funk’ that wine enthusiasts of this region seek out. Think Northern Rhône, but from our backyard just four hours away from Coeur d’Alene. This wine is foot stomped after harvest and natively fermented in 20% new French oak for 16 months before bottling unfined and unfiltered. Flavors of roasted red meats, tobacco spice, fresh herbs, wet stone, and earth are complemented by vibrant plum, red cherry, and mouth-coating tannins. This wine will keep you coming back to Chalice for another bottle!
