Aromatically complex, the wine delivers intermingled notes of brioche, toasted meringue, lemon curd, and minerality. Zesty Meyer lemon, ginger, and cardamom drive interest on the palate, with a satisfying viscosity and bright acidity that lead to a long finish. This Chardonnay is a blend of benchmark vineyard sites in the Eola-Amity Hills, including the Cristom estate. It undergoes native yeast fermentation and full malolactic fermentation, and is aged for eleven months on its lees in 20% new French oak barrels, followed by five months in stainless steel tanks.

The Archimage “Reserve” Bordeaux-Blend is 54% Cabernet Franc and 46% Merlot, sourced primarily from the Sleight of Hand estate vineyard on Red Mountain and Blue Mountain Vineyard in Walla Walla. Aged for 20 months in 41% new French oak, this wine is loaded with flavors of dark fruits like blueberries and blackberries, and has a gorgeous herbal undertones of green peppercorns and hay. Caramel and cinnamon spice come through on the back end, supported by well-integrated tannins and fresh acidity. You’ll be richly rewarded by this gorgeous Bordeaux-blend when pairing this fantastic wine with great music and friends - perfect for your experience at Chalice!

With only 440 cases produced, this distinctive Syrah from the Rocks District in Walla Walla is a special treat. The Stoney Vine Estate Vineyard is planted atop an ancient riverbed of softball-sized cobble stones, giving this wine the sought-after ‘Rocks funk’ that wine enthusiasts of this region seek out. Think Northern Rhône, but from our backyard just four hours away from Coeur d’Alene. This wine is foot stomped after harvest and natively fermented in 20% new French oak for 16 months before bottling unfined and unfiltered. Flavors of roasted red meats, tobacco spice, fresh herbs, wet stone, and earth are complemented by vibrant plum, red cherry, and mouth-coating tannins. This wine will keep you coming back to Chalice for another bottle!
